~ Artist ~ Designer ~ Knitter ~ Weaver ~ Seamstress ~

Lizzie Hammock

I have over 20 years experience in the world of fiber arts: stemming from a childhood playing dress up, making my first self-drafted garments as a teen, studying fine art and textiles, working as an alterations seamstress, a Fiber Arts Educator, and a clothing designer.

My craft practices making in a way that is slow, thoughtful, & intentional. I utilize solely high-quality organic materials that are always GOTS & RWS certified & cruelty-free. Choosing resources from places that care for the animals, people, & environment, and make sure the materials & processing of them are not harmful to our bodies or the ecosystem. I also make use of materials I have already in my yarn/fabric stash - even if they are not 100% naturally-dyed - the most sustainable choice is to use whatever you already have in your closest and play from there. All new materials I chose meet my standards for certified organic & naturally-dyed.

My goal is to design pieces that are timeless, durable, soft, comfortable, that spark joy, and are heirlooms to cherish and pass on to future generations. I want to help you create your own organic wardrobe by hand for you to love & live in.
